London Morgan are excited to announce the opening of an exclusive Morgan display at Haynes International Motor Museum (HIMM). The new Morgan display celebrates 110 Years of the company and includes both cars and artefacts from its illustrious history.
The HIMM was established in 1985 by John Haynes OBE after the success of his publishing company, Haynes, allowed him to build a significant collection of rare, beautiful, and interesting vehicles. John decided to house these cars together in order for them to be enjoyed by the public; he found a suitable site and the museum was built. The museum began with just 29 cars, and has grown continuously to now house nearly 400. Now, for the first time, this collection will be joined by an array of Morgans and company artefacts from the past 110 years.
The museum continues to expand and adapt as an independent charitable trust with three main aims: restoration, preservation, and eductaion. On site is a full workshop that not only preserves the museum’s collection, but also private clients’ vehicles with a team capable of anything from servicing to full restorations. The museum’s main purpose, however, is to educate, meaning the new Morgan display will help portray the fantastic stories from the company’s history and the plans for the future of the marque. We are proud to be a part of the story of Morgan Motor Company and very happy to be a part of the Haynes International Motor Museum display.
‘A Celebration of Morgan’ will run from now until 10th January. We hope you can make the visit. For more information, please visit the HIMM website.
